Choosing a high school is a difficult decision for families. We here at Holy Cross are committed to making that process as smooth as it can be. Becoming familiar with a high school is the best way to ensure that a student is a good fit and will succeed in his/her high school years. We recommend the following process:
7th grade year:
† Attend all of our grade school events. There are events in every season such as:
»Grade School Nights at the Football Game, Basketball Game and Softball/Baseball Game
»Lock-Ins
»Mixers
»Science Days
»Spring Leadership Training
»Attend a summer Athletic, Music or Art camp
† Look for us to visit your school in the fall. We will do a presentation and leave you with information about Holy Cross. Go home and discuss the presentation and information with your parents. Tell them you want to consider Holy Cross for High School!
† Attend our Open House. See the school and meet faculty, staff, students, parents and alumni of Holy Cross High School.
† In the Spring, shadow a student for a day. Pick a day when you are off for conferences but we are in session. Come and see what it is really like to be a Holy Cross student.

† Attend the Incoming Freshmen Family Informational Night. Your family will sit down with a representative from Holy Cross to go over the results of the placement test. Learn what a typical Holy Cross freshman schedule looks like. Lots more information is given on this night for incoming freshmen.
† Attend the Freshmen Family Welcome Picnic. A great event to get to know fellow Holy Cross families.
† Attend Freshmen Orientation--the last step in becoming part of the Holy Cross family!
