Welcome To Holy Cross Cougar Soccer!
Welcome to the Holy Cross Soccer Web Site. Holy Cross High School is dedicated to the development of each student and prepare them for college while also furthering their athletic career. The Cougar soccer team is a family of student athletes that work hard together and set goals both for the athletic season and the academic year. Our coaching staff works with each player individually and as a team to help you reach your full potential. The Cougars have won Three District Titles and have been runner-up twice since our coaching staff came to Holy Cross. What makes Holy Cross Soccer different from other programs is that every player has the ability to play regardless of the grade they are in. Playing time is determined by how hard you work in practice, your positive attitude, and your ability to understand and implement our offense and defense. Another area where Cougar Soccer differentiates itself is that you do not have to be a soccer star or have experience playing. A number of our players started playing soccer at Holy Cross. We have both varsity and jv soccer teams so there are plenty of playing time for each athlete.
We also encourage your parents to participate by joining our Cougar Soccer Club which help support our teams by helping with field maintenance, fund raising, team outings, travel, and other team activities. Being a private Catholic High School our coaching staff stresses Christian values and sportsmanship. Parents will also be glad to know that we stress education over athletics. We help each student athlete work on gaining entrance to college so they can further their education. We have had a number of former players attend college on athletic and academic scholarships.
As you can see Holy Cross offers an exciting challenge for incoming freshmen. We invite you to attend our practices or games and experience Cougar Soccer. If you have any questions feel free to contact me anytime.
