Holy Cross High School has named Rachel Hall as Assistant Principal/Dean of Students for the 2018-2019 school year.  Ms. Hall has taught in the Holy Cross Math Department for the past 6 years.   She earned a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Louisville, an M.A.T. in Secondary Education from Bellarmine University, and will be pursuing her Ed.S. degree in School Administration at Bellarmine University this coming year.  Ms. Hall has served on the school’s Instructional Leadership and Innovation Team and STREAM Committee.  She has been a teacher mentor in the Kentucky Teacher Internship Program for the Educational Professional Standards Board.  Prior to her work as an educator Hall worked as a staff accountant with Strothman & Co.

Holy Cross High School President Danielle Wiegandt shared, “Rachel has the perfect disposition for a Dean of Students in a high school setting.  She is student-focused, approachable, and holds students to high standards, both in academics and character.  She is a proven teacher-leader who will be instrumental in continuing to create an innovative, creative, educational experience for our students.  I am so excited for her to join the administrative team here at Holy Cross!”

Hall replaces Ms. Lara Krill who served Holy Cross as Director of Instructional Development during the 2017-2018 school year.  Ms. Krill has been selected to lead the St. Gabriel School as its principal.  President Wiegandt shared, “Lara has been a blessing to the Holy Cross High School community during this interim year.  She has created structures and procedures that were needed as the school transitioned into new leadership.  She has a tenacious spirit and we are a better community for having her here this past year.  We wish her the best as she begins this new adventure as the principal of St. Gabriel School.”
