Welcome to the 2023-24 Athletics Season!

Holy Cross takes pride in the athletic opportunities provided for our students, as more than 85% of the student population participates in one or more sports. We strongly encourage our coaches and students to explore and participate in as many sports as they would like to play. Producing multi-sport athletes is an initiative that we take great pride in. Under the umbrella of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA), Holy Cross athletic teams compete for State Championships in Archery, Baseball, Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, eSports, Field Hockey, Football, Golf, Soccer, Tennis, and Track & Field.

Participation in the Holy Cross Athletic Program is a privilege, not a right. Athletics is a laboratory for human development and the lessons learned through competition are lessons that will last a lifetime and help prepare our students for life beyond Holy Cross. Upon making the decision to participate, student athletes and parents must be prepared to make commitments to their chosen activity. In addition, all student athletes and their parents must agree to accept and abide by the policies and procedures detailed in the Holy Cross Parent and Student Handbook.

We look forward to you joining us at an upcoming Cougar athletic event this season and seeing if Holy Cross is place for your student athlete to develop.

 Sincerely,

Tod Bannister
